KCR defends TRS MPs' protest in Parliament

Hyderabad, March 13(INN):Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has defended the protest by TRS MPs in the Parliament and said it could not compared with Congress members 'unruly behaviour' in Telangana Assembly.
As soon as the process of expulsion and suspension of Congress members was completed, Speaker Madhusudhan Chary has given the opportunity to BJP floor leader G. Kishen Reddy to react.
While condemning the unruly behaviour of the Congress legislatures in the House on March 12 during the Governor speech, the BJP floor leader indirectly said, that some members should have behaved in a proper manner. He said in a democracy such incidents were not new and, the action taken in Telangana Assembly will stand example for the other states. He pointed out that in the Parliament some members were holding protest with placards and they are also covering the face of the Speaker with placards.
KCR, who was apparently pinched with the words of BJP leader, said that in 545 members in Parliament, TRS was having only 14 members to draw the attention of the government. Therefore, they are protesting there. He said the BJP leader should not take the name of the members who are not present in the House including his daughter K. Kavitha.
Kishan Reddy clarified that he has not taken any name and he just pointed out that some members were covering the face of the Speaker with placards in Parliament. The Speaker then disconnected the mike of the BJP floor leader. (INN)
