Four of a family drowns

Nalgonda, Oct 11 : Tragedy struck a family in Nalgonda when four members of the family were drowned in a canal on Tuesday, police said. The incident happened at Nagarjuna Sagar Left Canal in Nadigudem mandal when the siblings went to wash clothes at the canal.
Saidani Bi, 19, accidentally fell into canal. Her sister Husana Bi, 14, and brothers Bablu,12, and Mustafa,10, jumped into the water to save Saidani. Unfortunately all the four drowned as none of them knew swimming.
The deceased, who were from Andhra Pradesh, had come to their grandmother's house in Siripuram for Moharram.
