Defence Accounts top official reviews projects in Hyderabad, Secunderabad

Hyderabad, April 9:Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), New Delhi, Madhulika P Sukul, visited the Controller of Defence Accounts (IT and Software Development Centre ), Secunderabad and Hyderabad offices on Monday during her official tour in the twin cities, according to a press release.
The CGDA reviewed the projects developed by CDA (IT & SDC) for automation of pay and allowances of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO) and Other Ranked (OR) officers and functioning of CDA (R&D), Regional and Functional Controller offices of Defence Accounts Department (DAD). The CGDA appreciated the efforts done by CDA (IT & SDC) for developing such projects.
The CGDA also inaugurated the voluntary blood donation camp at CDA, Secunderabad in coordination with Indian Red Cross Society, Hyderabad to help children suffering from Thalassemia and Leukemia (Blood Cancer) diseases. More than 70 officers and staff voluntarily participated in the blood donation camp.
Later, CGDA reviewed the functioning of CDA, Secunderabad and expressed her satisfaction for services rendered to the Defence establishments. She advised the officers to be more proactive and help the services in discharging their duties efficiently. She also emphasised on one being accountable for the charter of duties entrusted to them. Senior IDAS officers Y Raja Reddy, Controller (IT&SDC), K Venkata Rao, IFA (R&D) Hyderabad, Shri T Rambabu, CDA, Secunderabad, Dr J Sirish Choudhary, CDA (R&D) Hyderabad and other officers of the department were present.
