Nalgonda Sarpanch killed in Bomb Attack

Nalgonda, Feb 13:Dharma Naik, a vice Sarpanch of Chinthalapalem grama panchayat, was killed in a bomb attack by unidentified persons. The bomb was the country-made bomb and it was placed under the bed of Dharma Naik while he was in his residence at Nagarjunapeta thanda in Tirumalagiri (Sagar) mandal in Nalgonda.
The incident took place on Monday night when the victim was full asleep and the unidentified Persons had thrown a bomb under his bed and blew up. The intensity was so strong that the body scattered into pieces.
Dharma Naik belongs to opposition party Congress. The Police had shifted the body to Nagarjuna sagar area hospital for Post-mortem, and the investigation is on with pressing dog squad into service.
