The sanctioned funds can be used for purchasing material such as vegetables, fruits, bangles etc., as per their line of business.
For other applicants seeking to set up traditional occupation business, Rs 80,000 subsidy will be provided for the upgradation such as purchasing tools, equipment and machinery. The remaining Rs 20,000 is to be contributed by the applicant.
For artisan communities such as Vishwabrahmin, Nayee Brahmin, Kummari etc., a subsidy of Rs 80,000 will be sanctioned out of the unit cost of Rs 1 lakh and the rest would be borne by the beneficiary. All subsidy amounts are to be paid only through cheques, the order said.
