Intruder charred to death in a fire accident

Vishwas News

Hyderabad, Mar 22:A man who reportedly went to steal money and other articles from a roadside tea stall at Kothur town in Mahbubnagar district was charred to death on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the man whose identity is yet to be established, had gone to a tea stall belonging to D. Ram, located on the road side at Kothur main road at around 11.30 pm on Tuesday.
The intruder broke into the stall from the backside by removing the wooden plank and while entering touched a petrol can kept inside. "As there was no light, the intruder apparently took out a matchstick and lighted it. In no time, he was engulfed in fire," said Kothur police.
The police who received information of a fire accident had rushed to the spot and with the help of fire personnel doused the flames. While searching the remains, the shop owner found the body and alerted the cops.
The police registered a case and are investigating.
