Home loans may get costlier post RBI repo rate hike

Hyderabad, June 7:World is constantly under the threat of cyber-attacks and counter measures to combat them are not just minimal but also scattered. There is a need for concerted effort by all the stakeholders. Realising this situation, a cyber security cluster is being developed in Hyderabad, a first of its kind initiative anywhere in the country.
Hyderabad Security Cluster (HSC), being developed by Hyderabad Security Foundation (HSF), has been designed to become the hub for cyber security and will help create satellite clusters in tier-I and tier-II cities, across the country.
HSC founding member and E2 Labs chairman & founder Zaki Qureshey, told , "India is known as a software power with major IT hubs such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Centre has initiated several digital initiatives and with increasing use of digital platforms, there could be more cyber-attacks, challenging the existing security infrastructure. Countries such as Russia and China are heavily investing in cyber security. The US accounts for almost 60-65 per cent of the cyber security market. Netherlands is known for its cyber security framework in Europe. Its time India needs to step up its efforts in this direction."
European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is coming into force. Indian companies dealing with 26 countries in Europe will have to comply with the new norms. So there are more reasons for India to be cyber ready.
He informed, "Hyderabad being one of the major IT hubs in the country has all the requisites to lead the cyber security initiatives. Telangana, which introduced its Cyber Security Policy has a clear vision for capacity building, electronic warfare and creating cyber warriors. Plans to create a cyber security cluster in Hyderabad began in 2015 and there had been progress since then.
The HSC will primarily focus on areas such as cyber forensics, critical security infrastructure, national security, counter terrorism and electronic warfare. Founding member companies will take up research and innovation on a collaborative model. Cyber warriors will also be trained to combat cyber threat to Aadhaar security, banking and other vulnerable areas."
