Finally, Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act in Telugu soon

Vishwas News

Hyderabad, April 24:What does it take to translate a 71-page Central Act? Constant referencing of at least five English to Telugu dictionaries and vice-versa, a glossary of words and terms approved by a Government of India working group, and a good working knowledge of India's 'universal language' - Hindi - to fill in the blanks if appropriate Telugu words or terms are not found to fit into the translation.
The final ingredient to a successful translation of a Central Act is a set of government officials and staff performing this exacting task with dedication that can put a student pursuing a doctoral degree to shame.
And such has been the case with the 71-page Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, whose official Telugu version is expected to be published sometime soon.
