Conductor held for harassing woman passenger in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 24:A TSRTC bus conductor, who sexually harassed a woman passenger and outraged her modesty in a moving bus, was nabbed by the Rachakonda She Team here on Friday.
According to the police, around 11 am, the Rachakonda WhatsApp control number received a message from the victim saying that while she was going to college in the bus, the conductor was seen misbehaving with other women. Later, he touched her also inappropriately. "The victim informed that it was happening every day and that she had witnessed it. She said it was not possible for her to click a picture or take a video of him harassing women in the moving bus," police said, adding, however, she forwarded the bus ticket details to help trace him.
Based on the information, the Vanasthalipuram She Team immediately traced the bus conductor and identified him as Srinivas Guptha, 50, who was posted at the Bandlaguda Bus Depot. He was arrested and a case was booked against him. According to the police, he admitted the offence during questioning.
